This isn’t a moment of nostalgia! CLG Cora Chaitlín has once more got its hands on O’Rourke’s field.
We are delighted to extend our playing fields for 2017 and the O’Rourke family have generously leased us the field. It will increase the amount of space within our club facilities for the year and the field is in the ideal location situated directly opposite from our club grounds. We are hopeful this will lead to an improvement across the board and we thank the O’Rourke family for helping us out.
Our appreciation doesn’t end there. Diarmuid O’Leary of Granahan Construction & Plant Hire has very kindly volunteered his services in levelling the field and has been working away diligently in ensuring the field will be up to playing standards.
2016 saw record numbers at underage trainings and this extra space will hopefully lead to our stars flourishing in the years to come.
