On behalf of the club we wish to extend a huge THANK YOU to each and everyone who helped out in the planning and execution of the successful Family Fun day on June 17th, without the support of the committee behind the scenes the day would not have been the success it was. Thanks to each and everyone of ye.
We also want to again thank all the sponsors who supported this event.
We are delighted to say just under €4000 was made on the day and this is going back into the Club.
The funds raised will be used to fund a new set of Goal posts for O’Rourke’s field and will be installed in the coming weeks. This extra training facility will be a huge resource to the club to be used for training the future stars of the club . The remaining balance will be put into a club development fund for use for all underage teams.
We wish to thank each and every member of the community who supported us on the day and we hope to make this successful event an annual day to look forward to. It is great to get such positive feedback from everyone who attended.
