Executive Post For Paula

Plenty of discoveries were made in our club this year.

Some of the notable ones included Patricia O’Grady finding Katie O’Flanagan and Gerry & Donal coming across a certain Colin Guilfoyle. On par with them, we in the club came across a driven, genuine, competent workhorse by the name of Paula Carr Whelan, a former camogie player for the Blues.

She has excelled in the role of Assistant PRO, providing match updates for our senior and intermediate hurlers assisting in the growth of our large followings on both Facebook and Twitter. On top of that, she has helped to put handball back in local media in her position as County PRO. She was also a vital member of the Tradraí committee which was published in October. Not to mention she was part of Dogs Night committee and won €1000 for the club when singing for the nation on Today FM.

Paula replaces Brendan Ryan as Bord na nÓg Secretary, she is a brilliant supporter of our club and having her on the Executive is a real plus for all of us in the club.

Best of luck to Paula, we don’t think she’ll need it though.
