After a year’s absence away from the Executive, Pat Keogh is making his return.
His list of roles as a Club Officer are lengthy, among those are Chairman, Secretary, PRO and Bord na nÓg Chair. Now Pat is ready for a new challenge as our Scór officer. Not to mention, he has been very generous in his sponsorship to the club down through the years. Along with Johnny Collins of The Sports Bar, Pat Keogh Chauffeur Services are our main club sponsors.
Scór is a wonderful aspect of the GAA, it ties in with the organisation’s ethos of promoting Irish culture and everything that goes with it. The events in the annual competition include Rince Fóirne, Amhránaíocht Aonair, Ceol Uirlise, Aithriseoirecht/Scealaíocht, Bailéad Ghrúpa, Rinnce Sean Nós, Léiriú, Rince Seit agus Tráth na gCeisteanna.
Our club has a long-standing history in this with the All-Ireland success of Mike Kennedy (RIP), Sean Ó Donaile & Martin McInerney in 1986 a particular highlight.
