In a repeat of their final league match last week, Newmarket faced Tulla in the Shield Semi-final and won on a score line of 6-02 to 2-07.
It was a glorious evening and the supporters were out in force to cheer the girls on. All girls put in an exceptional effort and reaped their rewards with some great scores.
The girls now go on to play in the Shield Final against St. Josephs DB on Wednesday, time and venue to be confirmed.
