CLG Cora Chaitlín would like to sincerely thank all involved with Bord na nÓg in Clare as well as Feakle and Killanena GAA clubs for helping us avoid a fixture clash this Saturday.
Our Minor Hurlers were scheduled to play Feakle/Killanena at 11:30am on Saturday. However with Minor manager Darren Hayes also in charge of our Senior Camogie team who are playing Clooney/Quin in Clarecastle at 11am plus the fact that members of our Minor panel are involved with the Junior B side fighting for championship glory later on that day we found ourselves in a tricky situation.
Thanks to the goodwill and understanding of our East Clare counterparts and the facilitating work done by the underage hurling body in the County this fixture has been deferred until October 8th. This now means that our supporters won’t have to choose between teams and they can now travel to Clarecastle on Saturday morning and catch the refixed minor game.
All’s well that ends well.
