Newmarket-on-Fergus 2-15
Crusheen 1-14
Venue: Fr Murphy Memorial Park, Newmarket-on-Fergus
With a place in the semi-finals and top spot of Division 3, Newmarket-on-Fergus just needed a win to solidify their unbeaten league record for 2017.
That they did but it was far from impressive display with a four point winning margin when it could have easily been fourteen.
A big improvement will be needed if they are to progress in the league and ahead of the round two championship date with Inagh/Kilnamona.
