Power again from a free and then a Jamie Power goal, his 1st of 2, gave us a solid lead when he took a knock and was moved to full forward. Peter again broke through for a points and then Parteen/Meelick took their 1st goal. Just before the half time whistle Jamie Power struck again to give us a lead going into half time of 4-03 to 1-04.
The home side opened the scoring in the second half with a point, With Harvey Cullinan coming on at half time, he showed his boot skills when he rose the ball, Parteen soon surrounded him, with no space he took a fine point with his left boot. Parteen Meelick again came back with 2 points from frees but Oisín McInerney (Hurlers Cross) was not letting them get back into the game, he took a fine goal breaking thorugh defence to rattle the net. Peter Power took a point from play followed up by a free and again Harvey used the left boot to split the posts, this was the point of the game, managed to catch the ball after being tackled to the ground, get up and score, great effort.
