While great joy comes from our games, there are unfortunately setbacks, injuries being the main example.
Darragh Whelan is one of the club’s brightest stars and has this week undergone anterior cruciate ligament surgery. It is the side of sport that nobody wishes to see but thankfully he has a bright future ahead of him when he does return to action.
A member of the U16 panel, Darragh will be a big loss to their campaign this year but we are confident and hopeful that when he completes his rehabilitation he will continue to be a major asset to our club.
He will soon get on the road to recovery and we will be right behind him every step of the way.
Best of luck darragh i hope all goes well
