C.L.G. Cora Chaitlín would like to wish our Patron, Canon Reuben Butler the very best of luck this evening for his Diamond Jubilee.
Reuben has resided in Newmarket-on-Fergus for the past twenty nine years and has had a considerable role to play in the story of Newmarket-on-Fergus. He has made many contributions to Tradraí down through the years and in the most recent edition he and Parish Priest Fr. Tom Fitzpatrick were interviewed in what was a fascinating read. Reuben along with Mary Grogan co-wrote a book on the history of our parish with the well-attended launch a testament to the respect the parishoners have for him.
