T’was the night before the Junior B County Final, when all through the Clubhouse, not a creature was stirring not even a computer mouse.
As has been the case with our Junior Bs all year they’re taking everything in their stride. In a repeat of an exciting League Final the sides will do battle with Championship honours the prize this time round.
John Hannon’s men have been a credit to our club and regardless of the result tomorrow they have done us proud. It’s a team of warriors from defence to attack who go by the names of; Pakie McCormack, Eoin ‘Smiley’ McInerney, John ‘Sox’ McInerney, Ger ‘Chest’ Hannon, Oisin O’Connor, Eoghan Ryan, Alan Leamy, the McCarthy brothers, Davy McCormack, Brendan Mullins, Fergal Lawlor, Martin Corbett, Pa Duggan, Brian Tierney, Eoin Frawley, Pa Burke, Ryan Corry, Gearoid McMahon, Alan O’Flanagan, Liam Harkin, Rory Murphy, Peter Roche and last but not least the merciless Malachy Noonan. We’re glad to have these men in our corner alongside John Hannon, Derek Clancy and Seamie Lynch because this battle is the game for warriors.
There have been some dark hours for our club at different instances this year but our Junior Bs have always been the bright flame, for this alone they deserve your support at 3:30pm in Sixmilebridge tomorrow. Let’s do our bit to ensure their flame doesn’t quench tomorrow.
P.S. will someone bring a pair of Newmarket shorts and socks for Peter Roche, thanks!
