A big task lies in front of our Senior Camogie team as they face Clooney/Quin in the semi-finals of the PK Travel Clare Senior Camogie Championship.
Clarecastle hosts the clash with 11am the scheduled time for throw-in. So far it’s three wins from three games in the 2016 Championship for the Darren Hayes managed side but this encounter will be their toughest of the year thus far.
At this stage two years ago Clooney/Quin beat us on and off the pitch to knock us out of the race for the McMahon Cup. Our girls have been going well in training and we’re confident they’ll live up to their side of the argument by not being beaten on the pitch so it’s up to the Blues to come out in force to ensure we’re not outnumbered by the Clooney contingent.
