CLG Cora Chaitlín would like to congratulate Blue Davy McCormack on his involvement with St Joseph Doora/Barefield’s success in the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Davy was part of ‘The Parish’ management team as they sealed their return to the Clare SHC with a five point win over Broadford last weekend.
A lot of people are involved in the promotion and development of our games within the club, few can match the contribution of Davy who has played a pivotal role in boosting numbers at training for our underage teams. Prior to getting involved with Doora/Barefield he was Bord na nÓg Chaiperson in our club and made massive strides for our underage club. In his professional role as Prinicipal of Clonmoney N.S. he has constantly encouraged boys and girls to get involved with the Blues.
