Well done to our U12 footballers who were successful in their season ending finale against Ballyvaughan in Cusack Park on Monday evening.
Twenty boys fought brilliantly and in a hotly disputed scorecard we emerged victorious 3-05 to 3-04 with goals from Matt Jones and Sean Arthur and a superb save at the end from goalkeeping supremo Darragh Meehan.
Captain Cathal Crimmins gave a man of the match performance and led a great panel with every child playing a significant part in our victory.
Big thanks to coach Mike Moran, undefeated all season, and to all parents who travelled tonight and to West Clare venues during the year.
With football now over U12 hurling commences this weekend away to Tulla.
Our U14 Ladies Footballers defeated Kildysart this evening at a busy Fr Murphy Memorial Park on a scoreline of 2-06 0-05.
