Our U12 Hurlers had a nice treat on Friday when they played three games at the Field of Dreams, Semple Stadium.
Sixteen players travelled and all got two full games under their belts. Our opponents included St Kieran’s, Newcastlewest and Bishopstown. We returned home with one win, one draw and one loss.
It was a great day out for our boys who were thrilled to receive a tour of Semple Stadium by Tipperary forward, John McGrath, many thanks to the Loughmore/Castleiney man for putting smiles on their faces.
Their tour of Munster continues as today they take part in a blitz at the Gaelic Grounds. Well done boys.
