Fill up on petrol and diesel, pack the sandwiches, clear the throat because it’s a busy weekend for the club.
On Friday evening our senior camogie team commence their championship when they play Kilkishen/Bodyke at 7pm in Clooney.
Saturday sees our Junior B hurlers in need of a win to remain on the road to redemption. They play Parteen at 1:30pm in Cratloe. We’ll head from Cratloe to Sixmilebridge where our Senior Hurlers take on Doora/Barefield at 4pm with the winner advancing to the quarter-finals and the loser forced to take the detour if they are to make the last eight.
Another must win game for the club sees our Intermediate hurlers play Inagh/Kilnamona at 1:30pm in Éire Óg Inis. They are currently in the losers section, victory puts them into Round Three while defeat sees them fall into a relegation semi-final.
Also preparation is continuing with our Premier League Predictor, all entries must be in on or before August 18. Several members have forms so if you know an underage or adult hurler chances are they have a form that needs filling.
