They defeated Kilkishen/Bodyke 1-18 1-03. It was a tight opening half with very little between the sides and the Blues went in leading 0-08 0-02.
An early goal on the resumption pushed Newmarket further in front and gave them a lead that Kilkishen/Bodyke could never recover from.
