U16 lost out to Clonlara last night. They had the chances to take scores dropping the ball short alot or wide with a strong Clonlara keeper he dealt well with any threat. Eanna Crimmins worked hard for his 0-03 points from play along with Eoin Guilfoyle taking 0-02 frees, Others scorers were Jack Enright 0-03 points, Ronan McCarthy with the goal, a lovely finish to the top corner gave the keeper no chance, Oisin McInerney and Stephen Casey took the other points. They are a very capable bunch who need to work together as a team and take the chances that come their way.
The 16’s now qualify for a shield semifinal where their opponents will be Corofin.
