With one win and two defeats to their name, our minor hurlers are aiming to get two more points on the board when they travel to Clonlara on Friday evening.
Throw-in is at 6:45pm and Blues supporters are reminded that Cloontra East Bridge on the R471 Clonlara to Sixmilebridge Road is closed at Cloontra East\Mountrice until further notice as a result of structural damage and the requirement to undertake urgent remediation works in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993. Therefore alternative routes to Clonlara must be taken.
Having mixed the good with the bad so far, our minors come up against a Clonlara team yet to lose a game. However the experience gained by several players in lining out in championship quarter-finals for our adult teams will hopefully stand to them.
On Saturday our U13 hurlers play their second game of the season when they host Broadford at 12pm. Last weekend they recorded a 5-03 3-05 win over Smith O’Briens.
Best of luck to both panels and their management teams.
