Newmarket-on-Fergus take on Truagh/Clonlara at 2:30pm this Saturday in the semi-final of the PK Travel Clare Senior Camogie Championship in the Shannon Camogie Field.
Carol O’Leary has been speaking to Clare FM prior to the game where she revealed that they fully embrace the desire from other clubs to knock them off their perch.
“Losing the final last year was hard to take but to be honest once it was finished that was kind of it, we don’t think about those things too much whether you win or lose the final”.
So far, Cathal Kilmartin’s side have three wins from three in the 2017 championship, Saturday’s game will be their biggest test of the year and a strong Newmarket support is needed to assist them in their efforts.
