This morning in Garryhill Co Carlow, our own Ellen Casey and Chloé Philpott (Kilkishen) will play in the doubles u14 60×30 All Ireland Handball final.
They are playing a duo from Mayo, Lucy Brennan/Amy Shannon. They have put in a huge effort training under the watchful eye of Christy and Chris Philpott and are hoping to come home with the All Ireland tiltle. They played in a nationals competition down in Wexford back in June and came out on top that time v’s Kilkenny.
Ellen is a true sports star for our club, a talented camogie player for our club, also a joy to watch on the soccer field and at handball is gifted also, she just turned 14 on Friday and we hope her birthday weekend is one to remember.
