On Sunday morning, forty two boys and girls representing our U6s took part in a series of games against St Josephs Doora/Barefield in Gurteen.
Management admitted to being very pleased with the showing from the U6s acknowledging that their great efforts in training is beginning to bear fruition.
Well done to all players, mentors and parents. As a club it is very positive to see such high numbers, our challenge is to retain them, the ethos implied by the U6 management is to ensure every boy and girl enjoys coming to Fr Murphy Memorial Park each week and with the smiles etched on so many faces it’s fair to say they’re adhering to that!
The plan subject to confirmation is for training to take place in Clonmoney this Sunday at 11am as the U6s continue their tour of the parish and beyond.
