Since November 12th, the position of PRO in the Newmarket-on-Fergus camogie club has been vacant.
This month saw the Irish Women’s soccer team stand up for improving the conditions of its players. Key to boosting the profile of female sports in our country is the input and influence of the administrators.
Chances are if you use social media that you liked, shared or retweeted a message of support for the aforementioned squad. You can show your support for women in sport by boosting the coverage of the girls and women playing camogie in our parish.
To do that we need an individual to step forward and take on the position of PRO. Interested personnel are asked to contact Elaine Lally (086 056 6329).
