Parking Restrictions In Place For Senior Clash

Parking restrictions will be in place for tomorrow’s Clare Cup Division 1A match between Newmarket-on-Fergus and Kilmaley.

Motorists are encouraged to utilise the church car-park, parking will be limited to one side of the road in the proximity of Fr Murphy Memorial Park with traffic cones to be placed along the Ballycar Rd. We would also suggest parking on the Ennis Rd and walking through Avondale or down the main street to help alleviate any possible traffic concerns.

An Garda Síochána will be helping to monitor any possible traffic congestion and as always we advise drivers to park in a responsible and safe manner. If you experience problems related to traffic due to activity at our grounds, the Gardaí are the best people to contact.

Members of the Club Executive have highlighted the concerns related to parking and traffic in our vicinity, if you feel passionately that it is an ongoing problem, we suggest contacting an elected representative of Clare County Council who may be able to discuss the matter with the local authority.

Throw-in for tomorrow’s game is at 12pm. Both teams were victorious in the opening round and meet for the first time since the Clare SHC relegation final last year.
