As final preparations get underway for what promises to be a great family evening this Saturday we hope to see all current club members in their club colours participating in the Club Family day. We also encourage any members who have not been involved in recent years to join us in the 5k walk or 10k run (registration from 2.30pm, race starts at 4)pm and back to the club for a fun filled evening.
We encourage everyone to use the parking facilities in O’Rourke’s field as the Ballycar road will be used for the Wheelbarrow Grand Prix there will be no on street parking.
There will be something for every age to participate in after the walk, whether it be the obstacle course for different ages, target practice, long puc, tug of war, bucking bronco, face painting, sumo wrestling and lots more. BBQ and ice-cream also included. Some special guest will also be in attendance!
The wheelbarrow race (in actual wheelbarrows) will see heats ran off with a grand final of the inagural Newmarket on Fergus Gaa Wheelbarrow Grand Prix the main event after the walk/run, Which sponsor will hold the title for 2017?

We will have the clubhouse open from 7.30 to 8.30 this Friday evening if anyone can donate any biscuits or snacks they would be very gratefully received.
