Martin O’Hanlon opened the scoring in the 1st minute with a point from play, within 8 minutes Colin Ryan Scored the only goal of the game from a penalty won by Shane O’Brien. Ryan made no mistake against Patrick Kelly in the Inagh Kilnamona net. 1-02 to 0-01. Minutes later Ryan scores his 1st point directly from a sideline cut. Noel Frawley came on fro the injured Liam O’Connor in the 11th minute. In the first half Niall O’Connor x2, Noel Frawley, Mikey McInerney and Shane O’Brien all raised white flags leaving the half time score 1-09 to 0-09 with Inagh Kilnamona playing with the strong breeze in the 1st half.
Mikey McInerney opened the 2nd half scoring and taking 2 more chances he got within 5 minutes of the resumption. Another sideline cut split the post this time Colin Guilfoyle showing his skills with a very impressive score. Pauric McMahon replaced Frawley with 10 minutes left on the clock the combo go ahead fro the first time in the game 1-14 to 0-18. Colin Ryan levels it again with a free and on 29 minutes another demonstration of the sideline cut with another point from Colin Ryan again. In injury time another free converted to bring the final score to 1-17 to 0-18.
A good display overall, great to see the home support turn out, next outing will be at home again v’s O’Callaghans Mills.
