A fixture clash on Sunday morning means Newmarket-on-Fergus supporters will miss out on some hurling action this weekend.
At 11:30 in Fr Murphy Memorial Park, our senior hurlers host O’Callaghans Mills in Division 1A of the Clare Cup. With our chances of qualifying for the knockout stages still alive, the seniors will be hoping to pick up a home win.
Meanwhile at 12pm in Clarecastle, our U16 hurlers are in championship action. They will go in as underdogs against the Magpies and we’re counting on the lads to cause an upset.
