Fresh from a trip to Semple Stadium, our U12 hurlers headed to the Gaelic Grounds as they continued their tour of the province at the weekend.
They had wins over Burgess & Broadford while Na Piarsaigh edged out the Blues. Limerick senior hurler Gearoid Hegarty gave our boys a tour of the stadium and dressing room.
The U12 campaign is now coming to an end with focus switching to U13. Their year saw three challenge games, one tournament, seven league games along with activity days in Croke Park, Cusack Park, Semple Stadium and the Gaelic Grounds.
With twenty five active players it meant we had a very busy season, thanks to all the parents who have helped all year and those who provided transport over the weekend.
