Minors Left With A Point To Prove

Clonlara 4-13
Newmarket-on-Fergus 1-03
Venue: Clonlara

Sometimes in sporting contests, the scoreline says it all, it’s true on this occasion so we’ll keep it brief.

A slicker, sharper Clonlara outfit ran riot early on raiding for 3-02 inside the opening six minutes. They got five scores in the first six minutes of the game, Newmarket got four scores in the whole sixty minutes.

We have opted against the easy option of being critical of our minors. With one home group game remaining we’re instead expecting our young Blues to go out and do their club jersey justice. That can only happen if they put to the shoulder to the wheel in training, their faith remains in their hands.
