Gough Replaces O’Leary As Bord na nÓg Chair

Maurice Gough will succeed Diarmuid O’Leary as Chairperson of Bord na nÓg in our club.

O’Leary steps aside after an eventful year in the position. He led the Turkey Trot and Family Fun Day, both outings saw great unity in the club and were very successful. He also chaired two underage forums throughout the year and organised for specialist coaching with players in our club. History will also remember the input he has had in the careers of many of our current senior hurlers and the titles they collected in their underage careers.

Stepping up to the plate is Maurice Gough who has been involved with plenty of underage teams in our club. He has shown an immense passion for learning, attending courses all over the country to better himself. This is an admirable mindset and one we hope will benefit Bord na nÓg.

Best of luck to Maurice as he takes the mantle, thanks to Diarmuid for his efforts and we look forward to his continued input into the club.
