Newmarket U10s hurling group had an early start last Sunday and went by bus to the annual Craughwell hurling tournament in Galway.
They got all the seasons in one day weather wise but battled on.
24 players and 2 teams represented the club in some great matches. Both teams played 4 matches each.
8 clubs took part including Clarinbridge, Ballinasloe, Nass, Kilruane, Kilmacud Crokes , Ardrahan and Craughwell which is great experience for they young Blues .
The U9s won 2 and lost 2 close games and the Newmarket U10s got all the way to the final and only lost by 1 point to Clarinbridge in a great final.
Great day by all involved and thanks to Craughwell GAA club for hosting and asking Newmarket U10s hurling teams to take part.
