Tonight, saw our U14 girls play a very strong Crusheen side. The score line of 5-09 to 0-01 does not depict how much of a fight Newmarket-on-Fergus put up. From goalie Grace McMahon, backs Arianna Cunneen & Saoirse Reidy to forwards Maeve Begley & Amy Madden, they all fought hard. The ball was even cleared from the Crusheen goal a few times but the Crusheen girls were on point. Some great play from several of their players, especially their numbers nine and six saw them lead from the start and continue their attack on the Newmarket goal.
Next up the girls play Kilmaley, Wednesday April 25th in Kilmaley.
